Custom portraiture is ideal for those people wanting to have more than the standard ‘cut from the same boring mold’ photography that you see in too many places. It takes forethought, and planning for both the customer and us here at the studio to achieve a look that will truly show your loved ones own personalities as they really are. The majority of our shoots are captured on location rather than in studio, however studio photography is always available as well. Many clients like to plan for annual custom photographs of their families and loved ones to capture their growth and more importantly to keep record of personality. Location shoots give far more option to showcase in your portraits what people are really like. Here you wont find the ‘same old, same old’ portraits on a cloudy background in a sterile environment. Here you will receive a considered approach, tailored to suit your styles, your desired look and your wish for photos that are unique to you.

Think of it this way, you could feed your family at a chain-store  junk food outlet and get only what’s on the menu, get substandard service and food then likely come away with a gut ache or, you could have a gourmet chef come to your home and tailor your dinner to suit your individual tastes. You’d never cherish that junk food visit but the visit from the gourmet chef, that would leave a far better memory for all involved.  Custom portraiture is much the same, why would you put your loved ones through the mass produced ‘take a number’ cookie cutter experience of a standard studio when the personally planned and styled photos you could cherish forever only costs a little more?
