Pacific Dakota Restorations – DC-3 80th Birthday Celebration

The Pacific Dakota Restorations team and supporters celebrated the DC-3 80th birthday recently at Caboolture Airfield, just a short drive north of Brisbane, Queensland. Long term plans include restoration of this Dakota (also known as Skytrain and Goonybird) to fly as an international touring museum of the WWII Pacific campaign.

The project is based at Hangar 102, McNaught Road, Caboolture, Queensland
You can book the Dakota for an engine run, including sitting in the cockpit learning how to start up the plane by calling Dave on 0448 013 659.
